With overwhelming melancholy à la Roy Orbinson and basic 50s and 60s rock 'n roll tunes, Isaak became a huge star in the beginning of the 90s, of course fuelled by his signature song "Wicked Game", that papered in David Lynch's classic "WIld at Heart". Last year he released his tenth studio album, "Mr. Lucky", and got great reviews: Allmusic gave it 4 (out of 5) points: "As a sensibility, it's no different than anything Isaak's done, so the difference is the execution, not just in the light, fresh touch of the production but the songs, which are his strongest in a long time".
