The British sensation Muse will play Bergen at Bergenhus Fortress - Koengen on Friday July 23rd.

Last year Koengen on Bergenhus Fortress was visited by world class stars like Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles and Coldplay. So far we have announced Iron Maiden and Rammstein as some of this year's big headlines. But the party doesn't stop there. For a long time people have been asking who is to take over the throne as stadion kings after Rolling Stones and U2. Muse is the answer! The British trio has over the last ten years gone from a small club band to filling mighty Wembley stadium two days in a row. That is 160.000 tickets sold! An achievement only Foo Fighters and Coldplay have done after them, bands that also have visited Bergenhus Fortress - Koengen the last couple of years...

Muse had their debut with the album Showbiz in 1999 and already then laid out what was to become their winning formula. With Queen's urge for Baroque arrangements, combined with Radiohead's intence melodies and frontman Matthew Bellamy's neckbreaking guitar play, they have created a power pack that is still eating audiences in a fierce pace.

Muse has sold millions of records and received a ton of awards on the way, including both Q Awards, NME Awards and Brit Awards.
