Live Nation | Information

KARPE WORLD is finally happening soon! Here you'll find some practical information that’s good to familiarize yourself with before heading out to Ekebergsletta.

TRAVEL INFORMATION:

Please familiarize yourself with the different ways to get to Ekebergsletta. Arrive early and consider using one of our transport options. Download the Ruter app – it only costs a standard Ruter ticket to travel to Ekebergsletta.

CAR

KARPE WORLD does not provide parking for concertgoers, and it will therefore not be possible to park at the concert site. We strongly encourage everyone to use public transportation.

If you require accessible (disabled) parking, please contact kundeservice@livenation.no to purchase a parking permit. The accessible parking area is approximately 160 meters from the ticket booths as the crow flies. Please note that parking spaces are limited. Once sold out, unfortunately no additional accessible parking will be available.

TAXI

During the daytime, it is usually no problem to take a taxi to Ekebergsletta. We recommend booking your taxi through the Taxifix app, where all visitors receive 15% off by using the discount code KARPEWORLD15.

Good to know:

  • Use the discount code KARPEWORLD15 to get 15% off taxi rides to and from the event.

  • Due to high demand and traffic restrictions, pick-up options at Ekeberg after the concert will be limited.

  • If your driver asks, please consider meeting at a pick-up point just outside the event area, as this may result in a faster pick-up.

  • If you plan to leave immediately after the event, we recommend booking your taxi well in advance.

In the evening, however, the police will restrict traffic to Ekeberg, particularly taxis that contribute to congestion. We are unable to provide special permits or exemptions for taxis during these hours.

As an alternative, we recommend taking the shuttle bus to the city center and then continuing by taxi from there. The nearest taxi rank is at Ryen.

For questions regarding taxi transport for wheelchair users, please contact tilgjengelighet@karpe.no.

SHUTTLE BUS

The shuttle buses, route 91 – KARPE WORLD, operate from central Oslo and travel directly to Ekebergsletta. If you use the Ruter app to plan your journey, you will be able to see the exact boarding location.

The buses run from 12:00 PM Thursday through Saturday. A Ruter Zone 1 ticket is required to use the shuttle buses and can be purchased in the Ruter app.

We strongly recommend using the shuttle buses rather than the regular bus services. Bus 34 is also an option, but please note that this route has limited capacity.

TRAM

The nearest tram stop is Sportsplassen (Tram 13 and 19). A clearly marked walking route leads from Sportsplassen to the venue, and it takes approximately 10 minutes to walk to the main entrance.

Tram 19 departs from Jernbanetorget and Bjørvika in the city center.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):

You can collect your wristband at Jernbanetorget (next to the Tiger statue in front of Østbanehallen) from Thursday, July 2 to Saturday, July 4, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

Please remember the following:

Bring a valid photo ID. Accepted forms of identification are:

  • ID card in the BankID app

  • Passport

  • Bank card with your name, photo, and date of birth

  • National ID card

  • Physical driver's licence (digital driver's licences are not accepted)

The reason we do not accept digital driver's licences is that we do not have an electronic verification system to confirm their validity.

ID checks are primarily carried out to verify that guests are 18 years or older (or 20 years or older for access to the SAS PLUS area). If there is any doubt about your age, you may be asked to present valid ID.

If there is doubt about your age and you are unable to present valid ID, you will receive an Under 18 (U18) wristband.

If you have a ticket for the SAS PLUS area and there is doubt about your age, but you cannot provide valid ID, you will not be granted access to the SAS PLUS area. Instead, you will receive a GA (General Admission) wristband, which grants access to the main concert area only.

Please have your ticket ready. You can find it in your Ticketmaster account. Your wristband will be fitted on the spot and cannot be collected separately.

Important! You may only collect a wristband for yourself. Wristbands can only be collected on the same day as your ticket. For example, Thursday wristbands can only be collected on Thursday.

You can, of course, collect your wristband at the concert site as well, but collecting it in advance allows you to skip two queues when entering the venue.

Yes! All information about food and beverages, as well as everything happening at KARPE WORLD, will be available in our official app.

The app will be released during the week before the shows and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

Be sure to enable push notifications to receive important updates and relevant event information.

If you have lost an item, please visit one of the information booths located on-site. Information booths can be found at the main entrance and within the main concert area, and they are clearly signposted.

If you have any questions regarding lost property after the event days have ended, please contact kundeservice@livenation.no.

KIDS AT KARPE WORLD:

Everyone entering KARPE WORLD must have a valid ticket. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as the area will be crowded, with many people moving around and loud music.

Parents or guardians who choose to bring children to the concert must supervise them at all times. We recommend avoiding the area directly in front of the stage and instead staying toward the rear sections of the concert grounds, where there is usually more space. There are no designated areas for children.

In general, we strongly recommend that young children under the age of 3 (including infants) are not brought to the concert. This is for their own safety and well-being, given the conditions described above and especially in the event of an evacuation, as well as out of consideration for other concertgoers. Strollers and prams are not permitted inside the venue.

ACCESSIBILITY:

There will be a dedicated viewing area with a clear sightline to the main stage, AURORA, designed with accessible seating in front of and behind the extra-large wheelchair platform. Accessible toilets, shade tents, and dedicated accessibility hosts will be available in this area.

Wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms are available at all stages, and accessible toilets are conveniently located throughout the site.

KARPE WORLD is located at Ekebergsletta, and the ground surface is primarily grass. As a result, terrain conditions may vary slightly, although there are no significant slopes across the area. In the event of heavy rain, some of the busiest pathways may become muddy. If this happens, we will do our best to address conditions throughout the event to help maintain accessibility and ease of movement.

There are plenty of seating areas throughout the venue. At any given time, you will also find quieter areas with lower sound levels and fewer people.

If you require accessible parking, please contact kundeservice@livenation.no to purchase a parking pass. The accessible parking area is located approximately 160 metres from the ticket booths (as the crow flies).

Please note: Parking spaces are limited. Once the accessible parking area is sold out, unfortunately no additional accessible parking will be available.

SVINDEL:

All tickets for the events have been sold through ticketmaster.no. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from unknown individuals, fake accounts, or unauthorized ticket resale websites.

All tickets will be scanned upon entry. This means that any ticket that is counterfeit, has already been used, or has been cancelled will be deemed invalid. Anyone presenting an invalid ticket will be denied entry, regardless of whether the purchase was made in good faith.

Tickets will be made available as mobile tickets (QR codes) through the Ticketmaster app and your Ticketmaster account well in advance of the concert (approximately 30 days before the event). From that time, you will also be able to transfer tickets to others. Please note that PDF tickets will not be issued for this event.

Please be careful and only purchase tickets from people using Ticketmaster’s official resale platform on ticketmaster.no. If you have purchased a ticket through an unauthorized website, contact your bank immediately.

Please also note that, under Norwegian law, it is illegal to resell tickets for more than their face value.
